On the occasion of the 54th World Environment Day, a special program was successfully organized by the Karnali Resilience Initiative Nepal (KRIN), Kalikot, bringing together various stakeholders.
Under the global slogan “Our Land, Our Future,” separate events were conducted at Kalika Secondary School in Ranchuli (Tilagupha Municipality-4) and Kalika Secondary School in Gela (Mahawai Rural Municipality-5).
Aimed at raising local awareness about environmental protection and eco-preservation, the programs saw enthusiastic and widespread participation from students, teachers, and parents. The events featured interactive discussions and awareness-raising activities focusing on environmental conservation methods, the challenges of climate change, and positive actions that can be taken at the local level.
